Milk a Cow

We have a Jersey dairy cow.  She is certified through the American Jersey Cattle Association.  Her name is “Poppy”.

Pet a Sheep

We have Merino sheep from a research flock developed by the University of Nevada, Reno. Started over 30 years ago.

Feed a Pig

We have a Kune Kune pigs… at least that’s what we were told!  As anyone who has raised pigs knows, they love to root!

Hug a Dog

We have Great Pyrenees LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOG named Pride.  He is a working dog. We also have a Labrador puppy.

Converse with a Barn Cat

They may be difficult to spot, but we have barn cats.  One lives under the dairy parlor!  More are coming in early 2025 through DAWG.

Lasso a Beef Steer

We have Merino sheep from a research flock developed by the University of Nevada, Reno. Started over 30 years ago.

Boop a Bee (not recommended)

There are bee hives on the south-eastern side of the ranch. They are free to come and go from a caged area wired to keep bears out.

Kiss a Chicken (also not recommended)

We usually have about 4-dozen laying hens, and we even have names for all of them! They are 100% PASTURE RAISED.
